The Community Relations Specialist under the direction of the Director of Admissions is responsible for outreach and marketing activities intended to expand its referral base nationwide. This individual contributes to overall center development through development and implementation of a tactical marketing strategy to increase awareness of programs and increase admissions. The Community Relations Specialist will align marketing efforts with short term and strategic planning goals and objectives, which follows ethical standards of industry regarding marketing practices and referrals in the behavioral health/medical field. S/he is responsible for marketing Harmony Hills treatment center within medical, clinical and other professional agencies and establish lasting professional relations. The Community Relations Specialist is responsible for establishing strategic partnerships to further the mission, goals and objectives of Harmony Hills. This individual collaborates with the Director of Admissions to communicate incoming referrals and provides referral documentation to facilitate admissions process. S/he will be responsible for building relationships with local and national referral sources that come in contact with families and individuals in need of Substance Abuse treatment. Referral sources may include but are not limited to: community and trade organizations, medical professionals, universities, government agencies, insurance companies and private individuals. The principal functions of the position identified shall not be considered as a complete description of all the work requirements and expectations that may be inherent in the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.The following are duties, responsibilities and leadership roles that the Community Relations Specialist shall provide for the center:Establishes, maintains and develops relationships with referral sources.Demonstrates a strong desire to help clients, families in the transition to treatment.Demonstrates knowledge and adherence to state and federal confidentiality regulations.Attends and represents Harmony Hills at industry trade shows, community healthcare events, professional healthcare meetings/panels, and other events to network and market.Creates a strategic plan to hit monthly piles competitive data and analyzes within assigned geographical region.Utilizes multiple mediums to market work and partnership with local and national service providers.Direct sales calls on professionals and companies that need our anize conference attendance and exhibits.Maintain working knowledge of Harmony Hills clinical and business Develop and maintain an organized database of potential referral sources.Develop and execute educational and marketing seminars and in service trainings.Create news releases and newsletters quarterly.Report to Director of Admissions weekly new contacts, follow up calls, in person visits, networking events attended, and conferences anizes tours of the center with potential referents. Searches and reports on development opportunities in support of Harmony HillA?s mission and goals.Educates communities, agencies and individuals about Harmony Hills in support of program development.Performs administrative duties related to growth of Harmony pletes referral paperwork.Ability to report to work as scheduled, in a timely fashion and will an attitude oriented toward service.Ability to understand and comply with all Harmony HillsA? policies and procedures.Presents in a professional manner in the community, in person, on telephone and in written communication including times of extreme stress and when others are upset.Works effectively with culturally diverse groups and individuals experiencing an exacerbation of either psychiatric, substance use and/or medical symptoms, as well as experiencing a stressful situation.Works cooperatively in the work environment and takes direc
