Faculty - Emergency Medical Services Major Responsibilities: To develop a healthyand caring environment that offers a variety of options andopportunities for active participation of students in the learningprocess. Major responsibilities of faculty include five areas:teaching, professional development, college service, service tostudents and public service, as defined in the "Role andResponsibilities of Faculty," which is published in the FacultyHandbook. Minimum Requirements: Associate of Science orhigher from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by theUnited States Department of Education required. Florida certifiedparamedic. Florida Level A Instructor Course. Florida Level BInstructor Course (when recognized course becomes available). Five years ALS first response, lead paramedic experience in anemergency response unit required. Teaching experiencepreferred. Commitment to the college objective of providing instruction fordiverse student populations.
