Job Description:
Buffalo Crossings Assisted Living , a premier senior housing community in The Villages is currently looking for a compassionate, energetic and outgoing Human Resources Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will maintain positive and understanding relationships with all prospective employees as well as current residents, their families and employees.

KEY RESPONIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Manage the Payroll functions at the community including: semi-monthly payroll for all employees and processing vendor invoices.
Complete recruiting functions for all line-staff including: hiring, references/v.o.e., pre-employment testing, and on-boarding. Assist in candidate interviews. Coordinate terminations.
Coordinate and manage employee relations working with the community management team and Director of Human Resources.
Manage and oversee all workers compensation incidents and claims as well as the community safety and wellness programs at the facility level.
Manage and coordinate all community training/education programs including: departmental training, stand-up meetings, certifications, first aid and any other State and Federally required training.
Status: Full-time/ Salaried Exempt
Salary : $35K-$42K Depending on Experience

Required Experience:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS
  • Prior Senior Housing Industry experience is a plus*
Must have experience in payroll including automatic time clock reporting;
Must have experience in benefit administration, open enrollment and COBRA;
Four year College Degree in HR or Management or 3 to 5 years related experience, or combination of both;
Proficient in computer skills at a high level: Outlook, Excel, Word, Internet; 10-key by touch, online Payroll systems, Online On-Boarding System and Online ATS Systems;
Two to Five years progressive management experience;
Ability to work flexible work hours to support state and federal requirements;
Ability to work independently; be self motivated and goal-directed;
Excellent written and verbal communications skills;
Excellent organization, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
